CONDITIONS FOR MAKEUP SERVICE
CLIENT SERVICE AGREEMENT
BOOKINGS
To secure a date for a special occasion/event makeup, photoshoot, makeup lesson, or wedding bridal party a $30 deposit or 20% non-refundable deposit is due at the time of the agreement.
To secure a date for a bridal trial, a deposit is required before the trial date.
The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. Please be advised, that dates and scheduled makeup times will only be reserved when a deposit is received.
If your booking is for, 6 or more people, or if there is a need for an assistant on the day, a fee will be charged at an additional rate to cover assistant fees $150. Travel fees may also apply for the assistant to travel to and from her location depending on the location determined by Google Maps.
BOOKING TIMES
A start and end time will be agreed upon by the client and the artist conducting the service. Each makeup requires a certain length of time to be finished, the usual time frame is approximately 1-2 hours per person depending on the service, with a 15 min setup and pack-away time. When reserving your date, book accordingly. Any additional makeup needs outside the contract will only be performed at the discretion of the artist. All persons involved in appointments need to be available at the scheduled time of said time and date, in order to not break the agreement. All makeup for more than one person must be at the same location and at consecutive times (no gaps in between).
Early morning fees: A $70 fee will be charged for travel/booked appointment times before 7:00 AM.
DOUBLE BOOKING CLAUSE
Due to potential scheduling conflicts if prior bookings change in time and or locations and it causes tardiness or inability to perform services for your booking we adhere to the FCFS (the first to have come is the first to be served) policy whereby the requests of clients are attended to in the order that they reserved their services, without other biases or preferences. You will be provided with the services of 1 Makeup artist, if Ani Bytol – Makeup Artist cannot personally provide you with services for your event, Ani Bytol – Makeup Artist's obligation to give services hereunder is subject to the unavailability of the Artist as a result of sickness, accidents, acts of God, and other reasons beyond the Artist’s control.
SATISFACTION GUARANTEED
Makeup will be completed to the client's satisfaction but is not to exceed the allotted makeup time. Ample time is given for each makeup upon booking. Acceptance of completed makeup application by the client is acknowledged by the client that makeup is done to his/her satisfaction. Once service has been conducted, a refund is non-negotiable unless it’s due to an illness or infection caused by Makeup Artist who conducted the application.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Ani Bytol - Makeup artistry, reserves the right to terminate this contract for any non-compliance with terms, the contract will become void and all monies given are non-refundable. This booking arrangement cannot be changed after the artist/s arrives for the appointment. Appointments canceled or changed within 30 days of the makeup bookings will not be eligible for a refund on deposit. If the makeup artist cancels at any time or is unable to perform her duties for any reason and not be able to find a replacement makeup artist, the deposit paid will be fully refunded within two weeks. The client agrees that the refund of 100% of the deposit is the only liability to Ani Bytol – Makeup Artist and any and all of its owners, employees, and agents.
SERVICE LOCATION AND REQUIREMENTS
The location of service for the day of the event will be at the discretion of the client, but there are certain requirements the makeup artist needs to complete the makeup. A table/work area needs to be made available for the makeup artist at said location. Working electrical outlets must also be made available for use by makeup artists. Ample lighting, whether by means of natural light or by lamps, is necessary for services to be performed properly. A high chair or bar stool is requested but not necessary. Please let Ani Bytol – The makeup Artist know if a chair cannot be provided. Ani Bytol – Makeup Artist will not be held liable for any injuries that should arise while on location. Remember to wear a button-down shirt so you don't mess up your style while getting dressed.
TIME & TRAVEL FEE
A call out fee of $140 flat rate will be charged for locations within 60km radius from home studio, there is an additional fee for longer distance travel. Minimum requirement of 4 clients for mobile makeup service. An early morning flat rate fee of $70 if travelling before 7am to clients location. $200 per hour fixed rate plus call out fee will be added if the client wishes MUA to stay for touch-ups during the event.
AIRFARE AND ACCOMMODATION
All costs for travel to a booked event are to be paid by the client. Costs may include but are not limited to airfare, hotel, transportation, and parking.
LIABILITY
All brushes, tools, and makeup products are kept sanitary and are sanitised between every makeup application. Any skin condition or sickness should be reported by the client to the makeup artist prior to application or appointment and, if need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test the reaction. Client(s) agree to release the makeup artist, Ani Bytol – Makeup Artist from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions.
PAYMENT
The final balance is due 3-5 days prior to the event via bank transfer as one payment, unless otherwise advised – no exceptions. The person(s) responsible for the entire balance of payment is the person(s) who has signed the booking contract. Acceptable forms of payment are bank transfers if otherwise advised cash in one envelope on the day of the event is also acceptable.
WEDDING DAY SUPPLIERS
Ani Bytol Makeup Artistry loves supporting other local artists. As such when using images after your wedding on things like social media I like to share the love by tagging those involved in making your day extra special. To assist me with this please let me know who your chosen suppliers are i.e. Photographer, Hairstylist, Florist, Videographer, or other.
